This page explains what deleting your account does. You can do it here, or in the app under Profile → Delete account. Both do exactly the same thing.
Sessions that were booked and paid for keep their records — the booking, the payment and any review. Those records belong to the other person in them as much as to you: a client's receipt for a walk they paid for cannot be erased because the guide left, and money that changed hands has to stay accounted for. Your name is not on them any more; what remains is an account with no name, email or photo attached.
Messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation, for the same reason. Our Privacy Policy describes how long each kind of record is held.
If you have a booking that is still open, finish or cancel it first — somebody has paid for it and is expecting you.
If you have earnings that have not been paid out, withdraw them first. Deleting closes your sign-in permanently, and there would be no way left to reach the money or to reach you about it.
Sign in first, so we delete the right account. Deletion only ever acts on the account you are signed in to — we will never delete an account on the strength of an email address somebody typed.
